Does anyone use magic jack




















No customer service, called when jack went out, they hung up on me. Still not working, total waste of money. Have been a customer for a long time and they offered no help when service went out. Have been a customer for years, in June had problems with magicjack.

Called tech support. After 2hr not working, he stated had to buy new unit, maybe updates who knows, ordered new unit, went into my office and to my surprise magicjack working, called magicjack less than 2hr later, magicjack customer service representative said could NOT cancel order, upon receiving unit promptly wrote "return to sender".

Checked with cc for credit. No credit. Started dispute, magicjack sent email stating restrictions on my account. As of today 1st call 2min 49sec disconnected, 2nd call 3min 32sec disconnected, 3rd call 10min 26sec representative hung up, 4th call 24min 33sec representative stated received unit back but could not email me info, I had to email them.

I've used magicjack for years and still good to June of but can't use it. This company has turned into a customer rip-off company. It's not the money it's the principle this company has going bad, I can't use my magicjack that I paid for, just hope this will help others and bad customer service of magicjack.

Anyone who still has a house phone is more than likely old. I paid for a magicJack. Never received service and they refuse to refund me. I have made several calls. They hang up on me. They give you the run around. They are even disputed it with my credit card com. Do not bother with them. The customer service is a joke. MJ Home is described in its advertising that you can use MJ at an electrical outlet and that a computer is not necessary. This in fact is true.

However, what it DOES NOT tell you is that you lose the function of the dialpad with contacts and voicemail notifications which is a major part of this product. They informed me that the MJ device needs to be 'plugged in to the computer' for the dialpad to be visible. But wait! I purchased this product MJ Home to be used at an outlet. Now they tell me that the 'only way' to see and use the dialpad is if this device is plugged into the computer.

I really wish they would tell you this information in it's description. They do not stand by their product, their tech support is absolutely useless and the billing department hangs up on you when you want to find a solution. This company is a disgrace. A cheap service is never a good service. Run fast and far from these clowns unless you like to flush your money.

Worse customer service very polite staff concern about you problem they fix nothing. Now magicjack deactivated my device rendering me without telephone service prior to a 5 years renewal at a cost of US dollars. Now I have no active account and they kept my original initial 5 years renewal cost. Magic jack is a ripoff bullshit company be warned I would never get involved with them again.

This is the worst service ever! I would not advise buying the MagicJack! I have had the service since and have spent more time on the phone with customer service than I care to write about here. If you do not buy the Concierge Service Plan you will not be able to talk to anyone on the phone for help, you will have to correspond by writing your problem on the internet.

These call centre employees waste more time than its worth going through their scripts and making you do things to the connection which often requires you to lose your connection with the person you are talking to.

It would also be nice to talk to someone without thick accents that talk so fast you can not understand a single word of what they are saying. I have had this service since and I paid for the service years in advance that expires in Recently, now March I had to get a new device a replacement device!!

I had been encouraged up to this point to keep the Concierge service up to date and a replacement device would cost me much less having the Concierge service. I started a fraud investigation with Home Visa today. I am sharing this so that no one else will get stung. I also called them again today and was transferred to a line that just cut me off. As I have told them, just trace the person that sold me the MagicJack box and you have the culprit that works for you.

I called you today to find out that my number had to be payed up for another year. I thought that I was paid up for 11 years. I had brought our Magic Jack down to our place in Yuma to use in November and it did not work. I then called the number.

I told them my situation and the person that I talked to said that my subscription was over and I would also need a newer magic Jack device. I see now that I did not even need the new device. He said that he would send one out to us in Yuma and asked if we wanted to get in on a new subscription for 10 years that Magic Jack had as a special for existing customers.

That contract included the 10 year subscription along with our Canadian number and a warranty. They would then add in another year to make it 11 years. At no time did I hang up the phone or phone another number during this conversation to a Magic Jack help line number. He said he would have to charge out the unit and shipping separate from the new subscription as they were different departments. He called back a couple times after to make sure that our phone was working. The person was also able to change the address in our MJ account for delivery of the new MJ device.

I notice now that this invoice is from magicJak and not magicJack. By phoning a direct Magic Jack number, I can now see that whoever I talked to at Magic Jack is working for you and also scamming people on the side.

Just wondering if you would like me to spread this on social media so that others will not get conned by this scam artist? It might save others from paying for a service that they will not receive. Hopefully you will be able to trace down this person that is suppose to be working for you. I have also been in contact with my Home Trust Visa that I used for this and they would like me to get back to them to see if they need to start a fraud investigation or if you are able to do it on your end.

I am very good with not getting caught by fraudsters but this would be very hard to catch seeing that it was done through a direct Magic Jack help line phone number.
